Behind the Orange Curtain, In The Shadow of the Matterhorn

In the wake of the recent police killings; Much respect to #opAnaheim for keeping the pressure on the beast behind the orange curtain.. Its crazy how people think all of Orange County is like Real Housewives or The OC, no its not, the bureaucrats & corporate megaliths just keep ignoring the poverty and enforcing policies that end with the gentrification of the hard working class of citizens within our city. From SantaAna to Anaheim; We grew up in the blvds and avenues of an Anaheim that Disneyland Police Dept has tried to hide and erase..
In the neighborhoods where AHM PD Gang Unit were the gangsters and would laugh as they ripped you out of the car with a 9mm to your chest. We grew up in the motels like the El Dorado and the Seville where AHM PD would do Gestapo like raids every month, steal peoples stuff and throw families into the streets, homeless. We are those kids on Lincoln, on Beach Blvd that had no place to go... but does it give police the right to arrest, torture and kill because you are from a neighborhood or you are poor or you are gang affiliated or a certain color or age...

That is the question that remains and organizations like #OpAnaheim and individuals like you will hopefully obtain the answer to. I can remember being 15 and running from the cops, not because I was hiding something but because I was scared what they would do to me if I was to find myself in an altercation with them, because I had witnessed them beat up my friends (who were kids) and I had experienced their sadistic brutality first hand. One time our friend had just got shot (a week before) and we got pulled over with his brother in the car. Gang Unit pulled guns on us and than after they had our faces shoved in the gutter water, they were making jokes about how our friend almost died and how it was a good thing that he had gotten shot. I know I am ranting but I am an Anaheim Native and I am an Emcee plus I am very angry that they get away with such brutality under the shadow of the Matterhorn... The happiest place on #WretchedEarth. Peace, Love and Respect to #OpAnaheim and all those fighting for freedom, justice and truth behind the Orange Curtain..
