BRUSSELS (AP) - EU Health Commissioner John Dalli has resigned over corruption allegations involving tobacco legislation, but denies wrongdoing.
Dalli resigned Tuesday after the EU's anti-fraud office found that he was aware of an attempt at corruption surrounding new legislation on the tobacco product snus.
The EU Commission said in a statement Dalli resigned `'with immediate effect." It said the anti-fraud office `'did not find any conclusive evidence" of Dalli's direct involvement but considered `'that he was aware of these events."
Snus is a Swedish type of smokeless tobacco, sold in loose form or in paper sachets that users stuff under their upper lip.
Snus sales are banned in the European Union, except in Sweden, which insisted on an exemption when it joined the EU.

White House Hack Attack
Chinese hackers break in to White House military office network in charge of the president’s nuclear football

Hackers linked to China’s government broke into one of the U.S. government’s most sensitive computer networks, breaching a system used by the White House Military Office for nuclear commands, according to defense and intelligence officials familiar with the incident.
One official said the cyber breach was one of Beijing’s most brazen cyber attacks against the United States and highlights a failure of the Obama administration to press China on its persistent cyber attacks.
Disclosure of the cyber attack also comes amid heightened tensions in Asia, as the Pentagon moved two U.S. aircraft carrier strike groups and Marine amphibious units near waters by Japan’s Senkaku islands.
China and Japan—the United States’ closest ally in Asia and a defense treaty partner—are locked in a heated maritime dispute over the Senkakus, which China claims as its territory.
U.S. officials familiar with reports of the White House hacking incident said it took place earlier this month and involved unidentified hackers, believed to have used computer servers in China, who accessed the computer network used by the White House Military Office (WHMO), the president’s military office in charge of some of the government’s most sensitive communications, including strategic nuclear commands. The office also arranges presidential communications and travel, and inter-government teleconferences involving senior policy and intelligence officials.
An Obama administration national security official said: “This was a spear phishing attack against an unclassified network.”
Spear phishing is a cyber attack that uses disguised emails that seek to convince recipients of a specific organization to provide confidential information. Spear phishing in the past has been linked to China and other states with sophisticated cyber warfare capabilities.
The official described the type of attack as “not infrequent” and said there were unspecified “mitigation measures in place.”
“In this instance the attack was identified, the system was isolated, and there is no indication whatsoever that any exfiltration of data took place,” the official said.
The official said there was no impact or attempted breach of a classified system within the office.
“This is the most sensitive office in the U.S. government,” said a former senior U.S. intelligence official familiar with the work of the office. “A compromise there would cause grave strategic damage to the United States.”
Security officials are investigating the breach and have not yet determined the damage that may have been caused by the hacking incident, the officials said.
Despite the administration national security official’s assertion, one defense official said there is fairly solid intelligence linking the penetration of the WHMO network to China, and there are concerns that the attackers were able to breach the classified network.
Details of the cyber attack and the potential damage it may have caused remain closely held within the U.S. government.
However, because the military office handles strategic nuclear and presidential communications, officials said the attack was likely the work of Chinese military cyber warfare specialists under the direction of a unit called the 4th Department of General Staff of the People’s Liberation Army, or 4PLA.
It is not clear how such a high-security network could be penetrated. Such classified computer systems are protected by multiple levels of security and are among the most “hardened” systems against digital attack.
However, classified computer systems were compromised in the past using several methods. They include the insertion of malicious code through a contaminated compact flash drive; a breach by a trusted insider, as in the case of the thousands of classified documents leaked to the anti-secrecy web site Wikileaks; and through compromised security encryption used for remote access to secured networks, as occurred with the recent compromise involving the security firm RSA and several major defense contractors.
According to the former official, the secrets held within the WHMO include data on the so-called “nuclear football,” the nuclear command and control suitcase used by the president to be in constant communication with strategic nuclear forces commanders for launching nuclear missiles or bombers.
The office also is in charge of sensitive continuity-of-government operations in wartime or crises.
The former official said if China were to obtain details of this sensitive information, it could use it during a future conflict to intercept presidential communications, locate the president for targeting purposes, or disrupt strategic command and control by the president to U.S. forces in both the United States and abroad.
White House spokesmen had no immediate comment on the cyber attack, or on whether President Obama was notified of the incident.
Former McAffee cyber threat researcher Dmitri Alperovitch said he was unaware of the incident, but noted: “I can tell you that the Chinese have an aggressive goal to infiltrate all levels of U.S. government and private sector networks.”
“The White House network would be the crown jewel of that campaign so it is hardly surprising that they would try their hardest to compromise it,” said Alperovictch, now with the firm Crowdstrike.
Last week the senior intelligence officer for the U.S. Cyber Command said Chinese cyber attacks and cyber-espionage against Pentagon computers are a constant security problem.
“Their level of effort against the Department of Defense is constant” and efforts to steal economic secrets are increasing, Rear Adm. Samuel Cox, Cyber Command director of intelligence, told Reuters after a security conference.
“It’s continuing apace,” Cox said of Chinese cyber-espionage. “In fact, I’d say it’s still accelerating.”
Asked if classified networks were penetrated by the Chinese cyber warriors, Cox told the news agency: “I can’t really get into that.”
The WHMO arranges the president’s travel and also provides medical support and emergency medical services, according to the White House’s website.
“The office oversees policy related to WHMO functions and Department of Defense assets and ensures that White House requirements are met with the highest standards of quality,” the website states. “The WHMO director oversees all military operations aboard Air Force One on presidential missions worldwide. The deputy director of the White House Military Office focuses primarily on the day-to-day support of the WHMO.”
The office is also in charge of the White House Communications Agency, which handles all presidential telephone, radio, and digital communications, as well as airlift operations through both fixed-wing and helicopter aircraft.
It also operates the presidential retreat at Camp David and the White House Transportation Agency.
“To assure proper coordination and integration, the WHMO also includes support elements such as operations; policy, plans, and requirements; administration, information resource management; financial management and comptroller; WHMO counsel; and security,” the website states.
“Together, WHMO entities provide essential service to the president and help maintain the continuity of the presidency.”
Asked for comment on the White House military office cyber attack, a Cyber Command spokesman referred questions to the White House.
Regarding U.S. naval deployments near China, the carrier strike groups led by the USS George Washington and the USS Stennis, along with a Marine Corps air-ground task force, are now operating in the western Pacific near the Senkakus, according to Navy officials.
China recently moved maritime patrol boats into waters near the Senkakus, prompting calls by Japanese coast guard ships for the vessels to leave.
Chinese officials have issued threatening pronouncements to Japan that Tokyo must back down from the recent government purchase of three of the islands from private Japanese owners.
Tokyo officials have said Japan is adamant the islands are Japanese territory.
Officials said the Washington is deployed in the East China Sea and the Stennis is in the South China Sea.
About 2,200 Marines are deployed in the Philippine Sea on the USS Bonhomme Richard and two escorts.
The U.S. Pacific Command said the deployments are for training missions and carriers are not necessarily related to the Senkaku tensions.
“These operations are not tied to any specific event,” said Capt. Darryn James, a spokesman for the U.S. Pacific Command in Honolulu, according to Time magazine. “As part of the U.S. commitment to regional security, two of the Navy’s 11 global force carrier strike groups are operating in the Western Pacific to help safeguard stability and peace.”

Preparing for any pre-emptive or retaliatory action by Iran, warships from more than 25 countries, including the United States, Britain, France, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, began to amass in the Strait of Hormuz (An area in the Persian Gulf where an estimated 17 million barrels and 30% of the worlds oil moves through) for a 12-day exercise on Monday.
As the war game takes place Iran is playing their own. They are preparing for a pre-emptive attack from Israel. “Our response to Israel is clear: I think nothing will remain of Israel (should it attack Iran). Given Israel’s small land area and its vulnerability to a massive volume of Iran’s missiles, I don’t think any spot in Israel will remain safe,” said Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafar. He also said Iran would close down the Strait of Hormuz, strike U.S. bases in the Middle East, and withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.“The US military bases sprawled around Iran are considered a big vulnerability. Even the missile shields that they have set up, based on information we have, could only work for a few missiles but when exposed to a massive volume of missiles, the shields will lose their efficiency and will not work,” he explained

More War Games taking place are happening in the Pacific with China and Japan. Media sources are saying that relations with the two nations are moving into a downward spiral and there is a war brewing in an area of Vast oil reserves, trillion-dollar trade routes, fervent nationalist sentiments, competing territorial claims and bitter histories – the waters off the east coast of China are a sea of money and a sea of trouble...The area has become dubbed "The Second Persian Gulf." The People's Liberation Army stands firm and is unshakable in its determination to safeguard China's national sovereignty. We will absolutely make no concession on territorial sovereignty." Economacalypse Now: Currency Wars and Flash Crashes
A financial apocalypse is coming soon. Experts that are free from the corporatist mainstream are predicting that it will happen by April 2013. The "Currency War" are in the Pearl Harbor stages. I have heard stories that the US sent gold bars, that were fake and filled with tungsten, to China to pay off some of our trillions in debt. If you look at the markets they are experiencing "Flash Crashes" like what occured Monday with Oil.Counties are wildly trying to accumulate gold because the time of the dollar is coming to an end. The Fed has just announced QE3 which is just like placing a band aid on a gun shout wound. This is all just Problem.Reaction.Solution to get us ready for a digital currency. We have to always look at the situation with the question "Who Gains?". It is not us. Are the Ceo's of the fortune 500 hurting... maybe a few.. What about the board members of the top 10 International Banks? No... They are making massive profits..The investment firms, the foundationheads, the military and prison industrial complex, the CFR Trilateralists. Bilderbergers are not hurting .. They are like a virus thriving off of our pain. So what do we do? Be conscious... with all decisions>> financial, nutritional, spiritual, etc. Don't shop at walmart or by Nikes.. False Flag Surprise
"False flag operations are covert operations designed to deceive in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities." This is also known as Problem.Reaction.Solution or PRS. It is basically like inflicting a wound upon yourself to than blame it on your enemy. It has been done countless times throughout history and it seems to be a sure bet for the global elite to get what they want accomplished. The Problem Reaction Solution or The Hegelian Dialectic, One author (David Icke) describes it like this: "You want to introduce something you know the people won't like. ... So you first create a PROBLEM, a rising crime rate, more violence, a terrorist bomb ... You make sure someone else is blamed for this problem ... So you create a "patsy," as they call them in America, a Timothy McVeigh or a Lee Harvey Oswald. ... This brings us to stage two, the REACTION from the people—"This can't go on; what are THEY going to do about it?" ... This allows THEM to then openly offer the SOLUTION to the problems they have created ..."
The reason why we are covering this is because their is a lot of chatter that within the next couple months that we are going to see another 9/11 like event. So the more people know how the system works the lest likely it is that they will be duped. We may even be able to avert a crisis like this from happening if we spread the truth and educate people on the tactics of the enemy... From SantaAna to Anaheim; We grew up in the blvds and avenues of an Anaheim that Disneyland Police Dept has tried to hide and erase..
In the neighborhoods where AHM PD Gang Unit were the gangsters and would laugh as they ripped you out of the car with a 9mm to your chest. We grew up in the motels like the El Dorado and the Seville where AHM PD would do Gestapo like raids every month, steal peoples stuff and throw families into the streets, homeless. We are those kids on Lincoln, on Beach Blvd that had no place to go... but does it give police the right to arrest, torture and kill because you are from a neighborhood or you are poor or you are gang affiliated or a certain color or age...

Solar Storm Could Send Globe Into Dark
Have you noticed your internet going out, your radio/tv interrupted or your gps is not working? Have you been feeling strange the past couple days? This could be do to the massive solar storm and flares shooting off the sun.
Alex Young, solar physicist at NASA, says "When the material from the coronal mass ejection hits the Earth’s magnetic field -- or magnetosphere -- it causes the field to “ring like a bell,” or oscillate.. This generates electrical currents that move around in the upper atmosphere and, when strong enough, causes electrical currents on the ground." The coronal mass ejection is expected to hit the Earth at about 1:30 a.m. Eastern time Thursday according to the LA Times.
The worst possibility is that these storms could take out one of our nations major power grids or it could even fry electronics like a EMP would not to mention that these storms have an effect on our brains and energy fields. All this at the same time a recent study was published by Space Weather: The International Journal of Research and Applications (published 23 February 2012), we have roughly a 12% chance of getting hit with a solar storm so powerful that it could take down the national power grid and yield catastrophic consequences for the general population. A large enough storm could send us back to the darkness of the medieval times completely decimating our global communication systems. A spokesman for the Center for Security Policy says “Within a year of that attack, nine out of 10 Americans would be dead, because we can’t support a population of the present size in urban centers and the like without electricity,” said Frank Gaffney, president of the Center for Security Policy.
I think this is reason enough to start preparing and getting some essential survival gear stashed for you and your family.

Aspartame, labeled as phenylalanine in products, is an intense artificial sweetener (about 200 times sweeter than sugar) that has been used in soft drinks and other low-calorie or sugar-free foods around the world for the past 25 years. Aspartame is the technical name for the brand names NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, and Equal-Measure.

December 1965-- While working on an ulcer drug, James Schlatter, a chemist at G.D. Searle, accidentally discovers aspartame, a substance that is 180 times sweeter than sugar yet has no calories.
Spring 1967-- Searle begins the safety tests on aspartame that are necessary for applying for FDA approval of food additives.
Fall 1967-- Dr. Harold Waisman, a biochemist at the University of Wisconsin, conducts aspartame safety tests on infant monkeys on behalf of the Searle Company. Of the seven monkeys that were being fed aspartame mixed with milk, one dies and five others have grand mal seizures.
November 1970-- Cyclamate, the reigning low-calorie artificial sweetener -- is pulled off the market after some scientists associate it with cancer. Questions are also raised about safety of saccharin, the only other artificial sweetener on the market, leaving the field wide open for aspartame.
December 18, 1970-- Searle Company executives lay out a "Food and Drug Sweetener Strategy' that they feel will put the FDA into a positive frame of mind about aspartame. An internal policy memo describes psychological tactics the company should use to bring the FDA into a subconscious spirit of participation" with them on aspartame and get FDA regulators into the "habit of saying, "Yes"."
Spring 1971-- Neuroscientist Dr. John Olney (whose pioneering work with monosodium glutamate was responsible for having it removed from baby foods) informs Searle that his studies show that aspartic acid (one of the ingredients of aspartame) caused holes in the brains of infant mice. One of Searle's own researchers confirmed Dr. Olney's findings in a similar study.
February 1973-- After spending tens of millions of dollars conducting safety tests, the G.D. Searle Company applies for FDA approval and submits over 100 studies they claim support aspartame's safety.
March 5, 1973-- One of the first FDA scientists to review the aspartame safety data states that "the information provided (by Searle) is inadequate to permit an evaluation of the potential toxicity of aspartame". She says in her report that in order to be certain that aspartame is safe, further clinical tests are needed.
May 1974-- Attorney, Jim Turner (consumer advocate who was instrumental in getting cyclamate taken off the market) meets with Searle representatives to discuss Dr. Olney's 1971 study which showed that aspartic acid caused holes in the brains of infant mice.
July 26, 1974-- The FDA grants aspartame its first approval for restricted use in dry foods.
August 1974-- Jim Turner and Dr. John Olney file the first objections against aspartame's approval.
March 24, 1976-- Turner and Olney's petition triggers an FDA investigation of the laboratory practices of aspartame's manufacturer, G.D. Searle. The investigation finds Searle's testing procedures shoddy, full of inaccuracies and "manipulated" test data. The investigators report they "had never seen anything as bad as Searle's testing."
January 10, 1977-- The FDA formally requests the U.S. Attorney's office to begin grand jury proceedings to investigate whether indictments should be filed against Searle for knowingly misrepresenting findings and "concealing material facts and making false statements" in aspartame safety tests. This is the first time in the FDA's history that they request a criminal investigation of a manufacturer.
January 26, 1977-- While the grand jury probe is underway, Sidley & Austin, the law firm representing Searle, begins job negotiations with the U.S. Attorney in charge of the investigation, Samuel Skinner.

We Will All Be Exiles Soon
Warning Illegal Truth: Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Congressman Charles Dent (R-PA) have introduced legislation to strip people from their US citizenship and exile them to be former Americans without a country or protection of the Constitution if they are suspected of supporting hostilities towards the US. The bill Introduced as S. 1698 in the Senate and as H.R. 3166 in the House of Representatives, the Enemy Expatriation Act would be another nail in the coffin that has encased the Bill of Rights since the passage of the Patriot Act, The NDAA, the Military Commission Act and the John Warner Defense Authorization Act.
When you take into consideration that under the Patriot Act, in order to be deemed a terrorist the verbiage is so bland that if you are in a group of 2 or more criticizing the government you can be labeled a terrorist enemy combatant. Not only this but think about how many Americans have been put on the "No Fly List" without a trial. The Serpent Syndicate is so brazen that they are overtly disabling the Constitution and Bill of Rights. This is not a one sided issue. I remember the hypocritical presstitutes, especially the Neocon Media, saying that criticizing the President in war time was treasonous and dangerous. They even went as far as trying to paint those who protested the war as traitors and were as siding as AlCIAduh (but now with a Democrat in office it's different...ha). Bill OhReally?, Michelle Malkin, Rush "Oxy" Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Anne Coulter etc were all eager to condemn any sort of dissent towards the President and his "War On Terrah" as unpatriotic treason and the so called Liberal Media parroted this preposterous propaganda as-well. The thing with this type of bull shit is that it implants the idea that dissent and protest are acts of sedition and treason. That is dangerous, for if we are not allowed to voice our opinion or peacefully gather in protest than why should we have a constitution at all. If this is what it is to be free than we should just crown the president as king and bow down to our great leader. This law would solidify the idea that dissent and protest are acts of treason and not allowed in America. I'm glad my people are awake to the bull shit...
As the federal kontrol grid gears up and tightens it's grip on the people it does one positive thing: it exposes it's self as a tyrannical bipartisan authoritarian tool of the once unknown fascist regime that is in control of global affairs. Fear and Love in 2012
2012 Predictions... These are just thoughts and the path we all take can always be remapped. I think we are going to see a lot of changes this year especially towards the end of the year. Let me make it clear that I do not think this is the end of the world but I do think our understanding of the world and the way it works is coming to an end. This may be great and it could be terrible but it is up to us to visualize and manifest our reality. We will either act out of fear or out of love. In the words of the Revolutionary Hiphop group Public Enemy "Don't Believe the Hype".

Economy Robbery-First and foremost the mainstream media is going to tell you everything is perfect, A OK. Why would they tell you any different when the 6 mega banks are funding their payroll, these banks pretty much own the media outlets, from TV to newspapers. If the truth comes out that the economy is a ponzi scheme and is fraudulently being propped up with an influx of fiat currency than the people might decide to stop making the banksters rich by taking their money out the banks and investing in real assets like land, gold, silver, seeds and food or maybe we can awaken to the fact that money is not needed and we can all be free without it.
*This is the year of the "Currency Wars"; We will see more countries in the Eurozone drown in disease ridden debt. We may see the same here in late September/October . This year I think we will see people awaken to the truth that there is an secret old elite cabal of super rich secret societies that are controlling and manipulating global events and mass consciousness. This is why we are going to see these trolls try and tighten their grip on us through false flag attacks, economic warfare and martial law. They will try and put troops on the streets and declare all criticism of their actions as terrorism. But as they try and merge state and corporate powers and as the fist tightens its grip more will squeeze through the cracks and wake up. We will see more rebellion and hopefully new world disorder. We will see truth and direct democracy become more popular. They are scared of the power that the people harness. We can not allow them to hijack and co-opt the movements of the people. Economy Robbery-First and foremost the mainstream media is going to tell you everything is perfect, A OK. Why would they tell you any different when the 6 mega banks are funding their payroll, these banks pretty much own the media outlets, from TV to newspapers. If the truth comes out that the economy is a ponzi scheme and is fraudulently being propped up with an influx of fiat currency than the people might decide to stop making the banksters rich by taking their money out the banks and investing in real assets like land, gold, silver, seeds and food or maybe we can awaken to the fact that money is not needed and we can all be free without it.

*I think we might see inflation if the market is not manipulated by the Goldman Sachs Gangbangers but mos def we will see more dollar devaluation meaning that more money will actually buy you less shit. More quantitative easing. On Christmas The Federal Reserve quietly bailed out some of the European bank buddies to the meager tune of 690 billion dollars to continue to propagate this system of toxic derivatives and so they can continue to play their game of monopoly while unemployment numbers are going to skyrocket past what the globe has historically seen. We will see more credit downgrading, widening deficits, austerity and we will see more pensions getting jacked from the workers. More problems for Greece, Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, Australia, America and even China. The City of London/Wall St Banksters will probably sacrifice Greece and have it default, maybe between Feb-April.

**I really think the most important thing to look out for (Economy) this year is a Banker holiday. This means the banks will shut down for a week and people will not be able to get access to their accounts or make ATM withdrawals.
